Two Days at the Museum

The boys had so much fun at the National Museum of Scotland yesterday that we returned today. Since it was free of charge I had no problem obliging. It covers the history of Scotland from rock formation to early inhabitants to transfers of power through the age of industry until the technology of today. The boys enjoyed the many interactive portions of the displays, especially the robotics exhibit. Here you can see them driving in a racecar simulation. My opinion that children shouldn't be allowed to drive was confirmed. We would have stayed longer today, except the fire alarm sounded and we were ushered out. Since all three of mine were with me, I know it wasn't one of them who pulled the alarm. We met Steve for dinner and now he and Tyler and Isaac are on a walking tour under the old city. Nathan and I just came back to the hotel to go swimming in the pool.

Today we went to the museum and yesterday we went to the museum. I liked the robotics room. I like everything in it.

  1. Free activities are always better, aren't they? Last weekend we went up to Kansas City (for Nate's half marathon that got cancelled because of a big storm). Hallmark headquarters are there and they have something called the Kaleidoscope center where kids can make all sorts of art crafts for free. We love reading about your adventures. Don't let the boys drive on any real roads for at least a few more years!
