A Scare in Bath
The morning we were leaving the city of Bath we decided to walk around town before getting in the car for the long drive to Reading. I had been wanting to visit the abbey, but had not done so because no one else wanted to see it. Steve sent me over to the abbey while he took the boys for walk. We were to meet back at the car in 30 minutes if we didn't see each other sooner. When I arrived at the abbey I saw that it was closed for touring due to the upcoming Good Friday service. I didn't have time to attend the service, so I wandered back the way I came keeping my eye open for the family. I came across Steve with Nathan and Tyler. Isaac had not kept up with them on the street and was lost! We spent the next 45 minutes wandering and worrying, in search of Isaac. I finally stopped to ask a tour bus driver if he would keep an eye out for Isaac when I saw Steve coming through the crowd with Isaac. Isaac, upon realizing he was separated from the rest of us, returned to the car park and waited by the car, trying to look inconspicuous. He said he had prayed that he would be invisible so that no one would approach him, and he believed his prayer was answered. We're sure glad that we haven't lost Isaac for good. In our new location, we have spent two days walking about the neighborhood and quizzing the boys on how to return home. They seem to have it down pretty well.
