Tip Toe Through the Bluebells

On our first Sunday here in Reading, we met the Aitchison family (see our previous entry about going to church in Reading for the full account), and today they invited us to lunch and to accompany them on their ward's annual bluebell walk.

Now for those of you who aren't familiar with bluebells, they are small blue flower that grows wild that blossom and wither in about a two week period of time. They grow in huge patches so the overall effect is like a blue mist hovering about the grassy fields. It was quite a lovely day (i.e. no rain), which really made the whole outing quite nice.
The boys also had a delightful time romping, stomping, and stopping to smell the bluebells along the way. Here they are with their mates enjoying the outdoors and contemplating the
meaning of life and stuff.
